United Group, the leading telecoms, media and technology business in Southeast Europe, continues the rollout of its third-generation cloud-based television and entertainment platform across the region. Following launches with Telemach in Slovenia and Vivacom in Bulgaria, the platform is now available in Greece through Nova, under the Nova TV brand. Further rollouts with Telemach in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro are planned over the coming months.

Launched on 15 October, Nova TV replaces EON in Greece, bringing a refreshed interface, improved performance and a more intuitive viewing experience. Key features include enhanced search and navigation, personalised profiles and recommendations, Sports Mode, seven-day Catch-up, Continue Watching and Visitor Mode.

Developed in-house by United Cloud, United Group’s technology and innovation company, the platform combines AI-powered content discovery with a redesigned electronic programme guide and a consistent experience across devices. Available through both a Smart Box and an app, it also offers operators a more cost-effective delivery model by reducing reliance on set-top box hardware and installation, while allowing customers to start watching on compatible devices within minutes.

Already powering services across United Group’s markets, the platform is now also available to telecoms providers worldwide, enabling them to deliver advanced TV and entertainment services under their own brands.
