EON, one of the most popular OTT platforms in Southeast Europe, has arrived in Croatia with a rich assortment of the best local and international content as well as award-winning technology that combine to offer the ultimate viewer experience anywhere there is an internet connection.

The platform’s introduction in Croatia means that the action-packed Sport Klub channels and regional news leader and CNN affiliate N1 are all available again to viewers across the country, along with the Discovery portfolio including Eurosport.

This comes on top of more than 19,000 video-on-demand titles available on the EON platform, meaning there’s always something great for every member of the family to watch.

EON is provided by Austrian-based Solford Alpine GmbH. Users can subscribe to the service on the EON website (www.eon.tv) or, thanks to a partnership agreement, through Telemach Croatia sales channels, including in Telemach shops or by calling the company’s customer care line.

“We are very happy to launch EON in Croatia as part of our pan-European operation. There are already many Croatian subscribers using EON all around the world through our global distribution, and we are delighted to make it now available to viewers in Croatia,” said Nikola Francetic, CEO of Solford Alpine, which distributes EON internationally.

EON boasts one of the richest catalogues of films and series available and features such as 7-day catch-up for more than 160 TV and radio channels – including 80 in HD – and a mobile app that allows users to view all content anywhere, anytime, on any device, regardless of their internet service provider. That makes it easy to use while providing an amazing viewer experience.

Three easy-to-understand packages offer great value and make it simple for Croatian users to select the one that best meets their budget and viewing needs.

In addition to desktop viewing and mobile apps, EON is available through the EON Smart Box or Smart TV app, all of which come with advanced features like sports mode with event statistics, personalized profiles including kids’ mode, and a personal recommendation engine.

“We’re proud to partner with Solford Alpine to help bring EON to Croatia. This is another step forward for Telemach and proof of how our transformation is helping us serve customers better. We encourage everybody to visit Telemach stores across the country for a live presentation of EON and to learn more about everything we offer today,” said Telemach Croatia CEO Adrian Ježina.

“From investments to build a state-of-the-art 10G fibre optic network and modernise our mobile network, to an exciting new brand, new stores, and bringing EON to Croatia, Telemach is committed to providing innovative products and services, amazing content, and the very best user experience,” Ježina added.

EON was developed by United Cloud, the innovation centre of United Group, the leading provider of telecommunications and media services in Southeast Europe. Active in eight countries, United Group has approximately 11 million users and more than 12,500 thousand employees. The company has the widest network coverage in the region and offers users the most attractive selection of TV content from around the world.
