With over 25 years of professional experience, Tomislav Čizmić is an accomplished senior executive who has held various leadership roles. From 2017-2023, he served as the President of the Management board of Mercator, Slovenia’s largest retailer. During his tenure as President, Tomislav successfully led Mercator through significant business and financial transformations, enhancing the brand’s reputation. His leadership was marked by his proactive approach to identifying growth opportunities and overseeing the company’s successful digitalization. Tomislav holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Zagreb and has also studied in Japan. In 2022, he started his second term as a member of the UEFA National Association Committee.
